Psalm 128:1-6
Blessed Are All Who Fear
1A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in His ways!
2For when you eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine flourishing within your house, your sons like olive shoots sitting around your table.
4In this way indeed shall blessing come to the man who fears the LORD.
5May the LORD bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,
6that you may see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!

Blessed are all who fear the LORD and walk in His ways. They will eat the fruit of their labor, receive blessing, and prosper. The psalm presents work and family as gifts, but its poetic confidence is not a guarantee that every faithful household will have financial ease or uncomplicated relationships.
The wife is pictured as a fruitful vine inside the house and the children as olive shoots around the table. The image is one of life gathered around shared food. It should not be used to shame single people, infertile couples, or families whose circumstances do not resemble it.
The person who fears the LORD will be blessed from Zion and see Jerusalem's prosperity all the days of life. He will see his children's children, and peace will be upon Israel. The personal blessing widens into communal peace.
